Welcome to the Clarendon Little League Web Site
10-11 #1
The 10-11 All-Stars at the District 3 tournament

Central Phoenix's Little League Since 1952

*****************

11-12 ALL-STAR TEAM: The Clarendon Little League (Majors) All-Stars went 3-1 in their first four games to finish as the second seed in their pool. They now advance on to play in the tournament quarterfinals on Wednesday night @ 7:45 at Nancie Lane Park (36th St. & Cholla). Congratulations to Manager Scott Lovato and Coach Frank Jose for leading the boys out of pool play for the first time in 15 years!! For the complete tournament schedule and updated results, visit the Arizona District 3 LL Web site, and go to the "Tournament" page.

UPDATE: After beating Horizon 13-4 in the quarterfinals, the team moved on to face High Desert in the district semifinals. In the bottom of the 4th inning with High Desert leading 7-5, the game was called because of rain. Per Little League rules, the game constituted a regaluation game (3 1/2 innings completed with the home team leading), and High Desert was awarded the victory. . . . Congratulations to the Clarendon Little League All-Stars for a great tournament and stellar play. The League is very proud of you!!

10-11 ALL-STAR TEAM: Congratulations to Manager Cisco Valenzuela, Coach Hector Soliz and the Clarendon 10-11 Year-Old All-Stars for a job well done at this year's District 3 10-11 tournament. The team will not advance, but they played well in all four games.

JUNIORS ALL-STAR TEAM: The Clarendon Juniors All-Star team will play the first of their two "pool" games on Wednesday, July 9th, @ 7:45 pm. Both of the pool games will be played at Anthem Community Park. For the complete tournament schedule and updated results, visit the Arizona District 3 LL Web site, and go to the "Tournament" page.

MAJOR D-BACKS END SEASON WITH TOC LOSS: The Clarendon Major League Diamondbacks ended their season in the semi-finals of the District 3 Tournament of Champions with a loss to the eventual champions Shadow Mountain Dodgers. The Diamondbacks had beat the Madison Devil Rays a night earlier by a score of 3-2 in a game that went three extra innings. Clanton Obtea provided the game-winning RBI in the game against Madison, scoring Christian Lovato from second base in the bottom of the ninth inning. Photos from both games can be found at www.swsportsphoto.com. Congratulations to the Diamondbacks and Manager Scott Lovato for a successful season and their strong representation of Clarendon LL at the TOC.

CLOSING CEREMONIES: Thanks to everyone who came out for Closing Ceremonies to celebrate another great season. And thanks to everyone who helped out to make the night a success. Congrats to all the winners of the Home Run Derby -- enjoy the D-Backs tickets! Congrats also goes out to the Major Yankees (pictured at right) for winning the 1st Annual Clarendon Majors Tournament. Click here for more Closing Day pictures.
