11-12 ALL-STAR TEAM: The Clarendon Little League (Majors) All-Stars went 3-1 in their first four games to finish as the second seed in their pool. They now advance on to play in the tournament quarterfinals on Wednesday night @ 7:45 at Nancie Lane Park (36th St. & Cholla). Congratulations to Manager Scott Lovato and Coach Frank Jose for leading the boys out of pool play for the first time in 15 years!! UPDATE: After beating Horizon 13-4 in the quarterfinals, the team moved on to face High Desert in the district semifinals. In the bottom of the 4th inning with High Desert leading 7-5, the game was called because of rain. Per Little League rules, the game constituted a regaluation game (3 1/2 innings completed with the home team leading), and High Desert was awarded the victory. . . . Congratulations to the Clarendon Little League All-Stars for a great tournament and stellar play. The League is very proud of you!!  

10-11 ALL-STAR TEAM: Congratulations to Manager Cisco Valenzuela, Coach Hector Soliz and the Clarendon 10-11 Year-Old All-Stars for a job well done at this year's District 3 10-11 tournament. The team will not advance, but they played well in all four games. 

JUNIORS ALL-STAR TEAM: The Clarendon Juniors All-Star team will play the first of their two "pool" games on Wednesday, July 9th, @ 7:45 pm. MAJOR D-BACKS END SEASON WITH TOC LOSS: The Clarendon Major League Diamondbacks ended their season in the semi-finals of the District 3 Tournament of Champions with a loss to the eventual champions Shadow Mountain Dodgers. The Diamondbacks had beat the Madison Devil Rays a night earlier by a score of 3-2 in a game that went three extra innings. Clanton Obtea provided the game-winning RBI in the game against Madison, scoring Christian Lovato from second base in the bottom of the ninth inning. CLOSING CEREMONIES: Thanks to everyone who came out for Closing Ceremonies to celebrate another great season.
